About Chadi Abi Fadel
Engineer by training, operator by temperament, founder by accident of having fixed too many broken systems.
The short version
I was born in Australia to a Lebanese family, and I have spent my working life between the two. I studied computer and communications engineering, with a minor in mathematics, at the American University of Beirut, then completed a Master of Data Science at UNSW. Along the way I took programmes at INSEAD on innovation in the age of disruption and at MIT Professional Education on leveraging AI for decision making.
For years I was the person called in after the last vendor left: untangling broken CRMs, failed ERP rollouts, and implementations nobody could maintain. That work funded Peaklight, which was bootstrapped with no capital and no investors. It also raised the question that became my research: how does an organisation stay in control of AI agents that act on its behalf?
Today, as founder and CTO, I run Peaklight: managed AI employees in production, governed by controls that live outside the model. If you are looking to hire one, go to peaklight.ai. If you want to talk research, speaking or anything else, email me.
